"Dietmar Dahmen"
Dietmar Dahmen was an awesome speaker/presenter. I had never seen anyone so active while doing a presentation. He sets a good model to how a presenter should be like -- humorous, detailed, straight to the point, organize, and interact with the audience. Even his slides were cooperating with what he was presenting throughout the whole presentation. The whole presentation was straight to the point and entertaining, and I do believe that every one of us understood what he was talking about and not spacing out. This was the first time that I felt time went by so quickly during a presentation. Overall, Dietmar Dahmen had a nice flow with informative materials.
I learned quite a lot from his presentation--the SnapChat, connectivity, generation connected, thinking in situations, my-vertising. I thought advertising was just designing a page that is appealing to the audience, and capturing their attention. I was wrong, there are much more things to consider in advertising --- fast, making things stand out, deal is made by trust, connectivity, and pre-sumers are a big part in advertising. Advertising is a "kick start", and pre-sumers is like a connection to fame where they help you advertise for free and getting the products known to others.
The image above shows some of the information he presented to us. "We do need to be relevant." Technology is growing rapidly in the industry, so being the first is really important--- "Firstism."

"Advertising"
Advertising has always been exciting for me to look through because of all the guessing whether if this is true or not, and how beautiful this and that is. It is a creative way to sell their products, and very interesting to see their composition/arrangement of the page. It is also like another temptation for consumers, and we know we can not resist most of the things shown on the pages. However, advertising was exciting until I saw advertisements that contains women portraying as sexual objects. I didn't think those advertisements were attractive, it was more disturbing to me. I just believe there are more appropriate ways to advertise a pack of cigarette, and Arby's burgers than using females as a sexual object. Also, there are teenagers looking through magazines in this century and this kind of advertisements are not appropriate, I think.
